Book Authors

Although we routinely receive review copies from the academic presses most heavily involved in publishing titles within the field of Latin American history, we welcome inquiries and updates from authors concerning recent or forthcoming titles, especially those under contract with presses not historically known for publications in this field. Please check our list of books received (last updated 4/19/06) to see if HAHR has received review copy.

Latin American presses often cannot afford to send us free review copies (and European presses may simply not be aware of the journal). If you have published recently with a press outside North America, we welcome you to either encourage your publisher to send us a review copy or to forward one yourself.

Space limitations compel us to limit the scope of reviews published in the journal, so we are unable to review all the titles submitted to us.
